The goal of this hands-on session is to perform some basic tasks about genome annotation. Annotation is the process by which pertinent information about these raw DNA sequences is added to the genome databases. This involves describing different regions of the code and identifying which regions can be called genes. In this tutorial we will follow all the steps of the genome annotation process by using specify tools as it is described in the following workflow:
